RECENT BUILDING WIDE TESTING AT OUR 177 NONQUON ROAD, OSHAWA LOCATION
The Durham Region Health Department chose our building as the first high-rise location in Oshawa, to carry out a mass-tenant testing. Since then, several other apartment buildings in Oshawa also participated.
There have been a few articles in the local newspaper, regarding this testing. One such article contained comments by an alarmed tenant residing in a neighbouring building.
The comments suggested that the building-wide testing at 177 Nonquon is cause for panic and fear.
We were advised by a tenant residing at 177 Nonquon, that he received a positive test result and that he will quarantine as required. Following the building-wide testing, a few more positive cases were brought to light. Given the current circumstances, it is prudent to expect that in a high-rise building which provides homes for several hundred people, there will be some positive cases. This is not abnormal or uncommon.
It is essential for every tenant residing in an apartment building or condominium to assume this fact and adjust their daily routines accordingly.
Valiant is continuing to sanitize all common areas in buildings to keep you safe. We encourage everyone to follow COVID procedures and keep safe.
Stay safe and healthy!
